Louis Vuitton Americas is seeking a Merchandising Manager for our Women's Ready to Wear (WRTW) division.

As a pivotal player within the Women's Universe team, you'll be instrumental in shaping and driving our WRTW merchandise strategy across the Americas.

We are looking for someone with an exceptional understanding of products, a keen eye for trends, a comprehensive awareness of the competitive fashion landscape, and a passion for Women's RTW.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager to establish sales targets and strategies for the WRTW category
  • Play a central role in managing product launches and supporting key priorities within the LVA Zone by coordinating allocation needs, launch tools, and initial performance feedback.
  • Develop and provide updates on collection strategies, oversee product distribution to stores in alliance with Supply Chain operations
  • Partner with regional and visual teams under Senior Manager guidance to implement strategic actions that meet business objectives
  • Engage actively in buying sessions held in Paris HQ curating seasonal collections for LVA, inputting orders, sizing, organizing samples, creating recaps under Senior Manager guidance
  • Conduct thorough analyses on new launches, market competition, pricing trends, and promotional events; generate routine and ad hoc recap reports
  • Contribute as key partner for events, especially WRTWled initiatives like Trunk Shows, Instore Styling Events, and Caravans, etc. Ensure stock and sample coverage to achieve target, necessary tools and visibility for retail partners, monitor orders during events, support with recap
  • Support with store openings and network optimization, ensuring impactful WRTW offer in alignment with market needs and annual sales target
  • Lead Permanent Program in partnership with Supply Chain, support with monitoring sales to stock performance, raise opportunities to SC/Planning for replenishment and mapping adjustments
  • Conduct routine seasonal rebalances in partnership with Assistant Merchandiser to ensure sales to stock efficacy, event support, and maximize our sellthrough potential
  • Own Rarex / MTO / Fur division of Women's RTW for LVA zone, act as liaison to Paris atelier
Commercial Mindset

  • Regularly analyze business performance to drive sellthrough rates while minimizing markdown risks
  • Compile weekly and monthly detailed reports highlighting qualitative and quantitative insights for internal stakeholders including VP of Merchandising and Paris Product Team
Decision Making

  • Cultivate relationships with crossfunctional partners for strategic development
  • Identify growth avenues alongside Client Development teams
  • Support Client Relations during event execution
  • Design productspecific training modules when required
  • Ensure optimal product display through partnering with Visual Merchandising
  • Align merchandising focus across stores with company objectives
  • Partner effectively with Digital teams to boost online presence
  • Lead Daily Moment Trainings (onsite and virtual) focused on Women's RTW

We seek someone equipped with an advanced analytical skill set that encompasses proficiency in retail mathematics, forecasting methods, and adeptness at product allocation to optimize inventory management.


Technical competencies should include proficiency, if not advanced skills, in Microsoft Excel for data analysis purposes and PowerPoint for crafting compelling presentations.
