SEASERVE is an international trading company specializing in the distribution of European ship spare parts in the North American market.

We are currently seeking a Technical Purchaser (m/f) in part-time (mini job) to join our team at our location in Rio Linda, CA.


This position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a personal, dynamic, and international business environment and has an affinity for the shipping industry.


Your responsibilities:

  • Sourcing of hardtofind parts
  • Obtaining and reviewing quotes
  • Placing and monitoring orders
  • Organizing and coordinating transportation domestically and internationally
  • Monitoring delivery dates
  • Checking supplier invoices

Your profile:

  • Completed commercial or technical education
  • Several years of experience as a purchaser in the maritime industry
  • Relevant knowledge of the procurement market in commercial shipping
  • Good written and spoken English skills

You are:

  • Honest, organized, meticulous, and reliable
