- Ability to work collaboratively with solutions architects, subject matter experts, and executive leadership to capture key concepts and ideas while maintaining consistency in messaging and strategy using proper tone/voice in proposal content.
- Responsible for the successful integration and execution of capture and proposal strategies into proposals, BAFOs, ECPs, ENs, and FPRs. (Best and Final Offer (BAFO), Evaluation Notices (ENs), Final Proposal Response (FPR), Evaluation Change Proposal (ECP).
- Assignments will include, but are not limited to, the development and support of Management Volumes, Technical Volumes, Past Performance Volumes, Corporate Experience Volumes, Executive Summaries, Staffing Plans, Resumes, and Oral Presentations.
- Expert level Proposal Writer with experience supporting Federal competitive proposals.
- Experience analyzing Federal RFPs, creating proposal outlines and schedules, supporting document review and recovery, and re-writing material under tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Strong writing skills with expertise in grammar, punctuation, and phrasing.
- Ability to communicate with a positive impact.
- Ability to quickly adapt to schedule changes, project re-scopes, and customer-directed changes to ensure compliant product delivery.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a diverse and geographically dispersed team.
- Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
- Intermediate skills with MS Office products and SharePoint.
- Experience in the IT/Cloud Computing industry a plus.

The primary role of the Proposal Writer is to interpret customer requirements and work with SMEs to write clear, concise, and compliant responses to RFP requirements. Proposal writing assignments may include white papers, proposal content such as management plans, technical content, past performance, corporate experience, staffing plans, resumes, oral presentations, and marketing material for growth or new business pursuits. This candidate would join a fast-paced and highly talented team that is focused on winning new business for the company.
Primary Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or equivalent. Shipley and/or APMP training and certification preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years working in IT supporting Federal Government proposals.
Clearance Required: Preferred but not required. The candidate must be clearable.
