    University Prep (UPrep) is seeking a talented, engaging, and compassionate Assistant Director of Admission for Outreach and Engagement.

    Job Summary:


    As a member of the enrollment team, this position supports the Director of Enrollment Management (DEM) and the Senior Associate Director of Admission by organizing outreach and engagement events and opportunities.

    This role partners with the team to conduct outreach by visiting and cultivating relationships with feeder schools and community organizations to expand the school's reach.

    In partnership with the Admission Assistant, this role helps plan engagement events on campus, including open houses, revisit days, and other prospective family events, to increase yield.


    Specific Responsibilities:
    Outreach
    Serves as a point of contact for feeder schools and community organizations.
    In partnership with the DEM, helps to develop new events and outreach plans.
    In coordination with the team, conducts fall and spring travel and outreach within the Seattle metropolitan area.
    Assists in strengthening the connection between UPrep and feeder schools and community organizations via presentations, materials, tours, and more.
    Admission Events

    Assists with admission tours, student assessments, and parent/guardian interviews.
    In partnership with the Admissions Associate, helps plan the school's large-scale admission events, such as the open house.
    Application Process

    Creates a warm and welcoming environment for prospective families by providing prompt and excellent customer service.
    Participates in reading and evaluating admission files.
    Engagement


    Helps the enrollment team focus on the growth and yield of a diverse range of applicants typically not familiar with or represented in independent schools.

    In partnership with the Admission Assistant, coordinates onboarding of new families to UPrep.

    General Responsibilities:
    Establishes and cultivates community relations by maintaining an open dialogue with all of the school's constituencies.
    Actively participates in the full life of the school.

    Vigorously engages in their own professional development; is a life-long learner who enhances their skills, using state-of-the-art technologies to maintain high standards of performance to efficiently and effectively produce work products.

    Is familiar with and complies with all policies and regulations as put forth in the school's documents.

    Since safety and security are everyone's responsibility, takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, faculty, staff, equipment, materials, and facilities.

    Performs other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications


    Required Education & Experience:
    Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university required
    2+ years' experience in a school environment preferred
    Bilingual preferred

    Ability to sit and keyboard up to 8 hours per day
    Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends
    Ability to travel frequently locally during the admission season


    Compensation & Benefits:
    Salary range is $66,000-$76,000 based on experience.
