    Professional Development Specialist RN - Emergency Department @ Swedish Cherry Hill

    Full Time Role

    8 Hour Shifts, Day Shift

    This position provides educational support to clinical staff, emphasizing excellence in care, competency building, and safe patient outcomes.

    • Assesses learning needs of staff and supports personal growth plans.
    • Plans educational activities based on research knowledge to enhance clinical expertise.
    • Uses tools to measure learning adequacy and provides remediation when needed.
    • Acts as a consultant for educational methods and curriculum development.
    • Assists staff in planning formal education growth opportunities.
    • Prepares and reviews learning materials ensuring adequacy, accuracy, and practicality.
    • Enhances learning through coaching on knowledge acquisition methods.
    • Identifies patient and community education needs.
    • Coordinates learning activities to support organizational goals.
    • Maintains expertise in teaching/learning and clinical competency.
    • Makes learning engaging and enjoyable.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Master's Degree in Nursing
    • Registered Nurse License
    • Three years of leadership experience in nursing with clinical expertise.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Emphasis on education with current clinical competence.
