Our client, a medium-sized logistics company, is looking to fill an exciting position in the fresh logistics department at their Laatzen location.

We are seeking a full-time Dispatch Manager (m/f/d) for this role.


The company, with three locations in Germany, supplies all well-known retail chains with fresh products just-in-time and is known for its professional and fast delivery.


Responsibilities:

  • Managing a dispatch team
  • Ensuring smooth and timely operations in dispatch
  • Planning routes and drivers for single and multiday trips
  • Creating and processing freight documents
  • Monitoring costs and calculating routes
  • Analyzing trip reports
  • Managing customer and driver relations
This long-term and diverse position is exclusively full-time, with rotating shifts between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM.


Qualifications:

  • Commercial education in the logistics industry
  • Experience in dispatching
  • Good knowledge of the logistics/freight industry
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly with dispatch systems
  • Ideally, experience in leadership
  • Willingness and ability to take on responsibility
  • Understanding of business management
  • Customer and serviceoriented
  • Flexibility and willingness to work shifts/weekends
