    Packaging Engineer
    Amotec is conducting a search for a talented Packaging Engineer to join a leading consumer goods manufacturing company located in Greenville, North Carolina


    Your Role:


    As a Packaging Engineer, you will be instrumental in managing the design, planning, validation, and implementation of new packaging technologies and materials.

    You will collaborate cross-functionally to understand customer needs and drive improvements in standard package designs.


    Key responsibilities include:
    Developing detailed packaging specifications to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
    Evaluating innovative packaging materials and systems for application to current and future products.
    Designing product packaging to ensure integrity and appeal under various shipping and storage conditions.
    Providing direction for packaging specifications, in-process control points, and testing requirements.
    Championing ideas for technology improvements, cost savings, and innovation.


    Position Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree or 2-20 years of professional experience in a packaging or product development role.
    Proficiency in MS Office applications.
    Strong technical expertise in materials traditionally used for consumer packaged goods (CPG).
    Results-oriented leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
    Experience in problem-solving methodologies and process focus.
    Knowledge of audits, certifications, and standards related to packaging.
