- Conduct preventive maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning, and general servicing of HVAC Controls (DDC) systems under minimal supervision.
- Mentor control technicians, service technicians, and mechanical technicians on building automation activities.
- Respond to control systems service and warranty calls, troubleshoot using Johnson Controls tools and hand tools, provide technical support, and recommend system repairs or updates.
- Perform system programming, installation, commissioning, and maintenance related to mechanical, electrical, and low voltage controls components.
- Complete all required project and service documentation.
- Keep management and customers informed of job progress and issues.
- Execute training to maintain high knowledge and capability levels.
- Engage with customers to understand their systems and needs.
- Follow safety standards and attend required safety training.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Interest in HVAC systems, control sequence, mechanical, and electromechanical fields.
- Aptitude for computer, networking, and troubleshooting concepts.
- Ability to use hand and power tools, electrical testing equipment, and personal computers.
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, excellent communication, and listening skills.
- Preferred: Some college or trade school, experience with programming concepts, network architecture setup, and HVAC equipment systems.
