Category Engineering Description McFarland Johnson (MJ) is seeking a passionate and driven Bridge Engineer to join our expanding Transportation practice in the Northeast.
The successful candidate(s) will be based out of our New England &/or New York offices, with preference or priority currently given to candidates in Connecticut.

With a record retention rate of over 95%, you'll work and learn with a team of highly regarded professionals on bridge design and construction plan development for bridge rehabilitation and replacement projects with State DOT and Municipal clients across the Northeast.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering years of experience in bridge design, rehabilitation, and/or inspection. EIT certification required, with PE or eligible to acquire PE preferred. Previous project experience with State DOT's preferred. Experience using MicroStation and AutoCAD highly desired. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organization and meticulous attention to detail. Ability to effectively participate and collaborate as part of a project team.

The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, which may include, but are not limited to the candidate's work location, relevant experience, educational background, licensure or certifications, and capabilities compared to the requirements of the advertised position.
Pay Range:
