Your tasks:

As a sub-project manager, you will be responsible for one of the areas such as frontend, backend, doors or exterior lighting.
You will manage the process chain to achieve timely series deployment of the vehicle components under your responsibility, in accordance with functional goals as well as quality, weight and cost requirements.
You will control the component development in CATIA V5/V6 according to technical requirements.
You will lead the SE team (Simultaneous Engineering) and be responsible for cross-functional collaboration, coordination and communication with all involved process partners.
You will manage and implement all releases and changes of components and drawings within the given target framework, involving the relevant specialist departments.
You will develop specifications, risk analyses and presentations and present them to the decision-making bodies accordingly.

Your profile:

You have a degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or plastics engineering, or a comparable qualification.
You already have experience in the automotive industry, ideally in the BMW environment.
You have several years of professional experience in the automotive sector and are familiar with the development of the relevant components.
You are familiar with customer-specific systems (e.g. CAD-PDM, PRISMA, gAMS, PQM, etc.).
