Business Information Analyst II

Location:
This role offers a hybrid work model, combining remote and one day at the office per week. Ideal candidates should reside within 50 miles of one of our Pulse Point locations in Indianapolis, IN, Chicago, IL, Richmond, VA, Norfolk, VA, Mason, OH, Portland, ME, St. Louis, MO, Wallingford, CT, Louisville, KY, Tampa, FL, or Winston Salem, NC.

The Business Information Analyst II is in charge of analyzing, reporting, and providing recommendations on data concerning various business metrics for potential and recurring client proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

Creates and maintains databases to monitor business performance.
Conducts data analysis and summarizes performance using statistical procedures.
Produces and examines business performance reports, noting performance discrepancies and anomalies.
Generates regular reports, offers recommendations, and prepares customized reports as required.
Collaborates on business matters to determine the best approach for developing relevant diagnostic or tracking data to convert business needs into practical decision-making tools.
Assesses potential causes of member disruption.
Collaborates with stakeholders to gather report and business requirements, supplying data to meet internal stakeholder demands.
Performs repricing exercises to project the impact of client pricing proposals.
Engages actively and strategically with sales, underwriting, and proposal teams to optimize opportunities and meet prospective client RFP requirements.

Minimum Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in a related field, combined with a minimum of 2 years of relevant operational and/or data analysis experience, familiarity with database structures, and standard query and reporting tools; or a suitable mix of education and experience providing a similar background.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Strong proficiency in Excel and Access is desirable.
Experience in database management is highly favored.
Previous exposure to the healthcare industry is highly valued.
Pharmacy expertise or knowledge is advantageous.
Background in a fast-paced sales environment is beneficial.

If this role is part of any Government Business Division entity, the applicant and incumbent fall into a 'sensitive' work category and could be subject to additional requirements compared to associates outside Government Business Divisions. These might include stricter and more frequent background checks, government clearances, adherence to segregation of duties practices, role-specific training, monitoring of daily tasks, and instructions for handling sensitive data.
