Job Description Position Summary**:


The Partnerships & Strategic Support Manager will manage a portfolio of work that aims to provide leadership in convening partners and communities of practice such as nonprofits and AmeriCorps programs in order to advance organizational capacity in equitable community engagement as well as advance racial equity practices in service & volunteerism programs.

Supporting the Director of Partnerships & Capacity-building, the manager will also collaborate with the Training & Development Manager on key initiatives as well as with the Racial Equity vertical on organizational priorities.


Essential Functions:


In this role, you will:


Lead implementation of support and capacity-building with key partners, programs, and communities of practice, specifically the AmeriCorps National Service Task Force, the AmeriCoprs Financial Empowerment Services, and the Volunteer Support Program, as well as grant-funded partner programs such as the PDPH Nonprofit Learning Collaborative.


  • Manage all partner engagements in the AmeriCorps National Service Task Force and the AmeriCorps Financial Empowerment Services program.
  • Develop plan to build capacity within communities of practice and lead implementation.
  • Develop plan to build out engagement with the Volunteer Portal, incorporating equitable engagement practices with community and organizational use of portal.
  • Manage all aspects of AFES program and collaborate with fiscal team on fund management.
Cultivate, grow, and support a community of equitable community engagement practitioners.

  • Provide positive and beneficial collaboration and grow engagement in AmeriCorps National Service Task Force as needed
  • Develop relationships and partnerships that support the objectives to enhance equitable engagement practices across our audiences
Manage communication with internal and external partners

  • Develop and manage outreach strategy for trainings
