This position is responsible for dispensing and compounding medication, counseling patients on medication and health subjects; interpreting prescriptions, managing patient drug therapy for complications, and performing drug utilization.
Pharmacists will be required to serve as preceptors for pharmacy students and pharmacy residents in their area of training and expertise.

Schedule:
Mix of day and evening shift responsibility with every 4th weekend and 2 major holidays per year (1 summer/1 winter).
Night shift rotation required to fill planned time off.Progressive Practice Model:
Mixed model where all pharmacists rotate through central pharmacy and 1-2 clinical areas. Clinical areas that pharmacists support include general medicine, infusion/oncology, operating room, cardiac care, critical care, emergency medicine, and more. Pharmacy services is well integrated into the interdisciplinary teams across the campus and organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (Required)OPL - Ohio Pharmacists License - Ohio Board of Pharmacy
BS or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution and a current Ohio pharmacist license. Completion of a Pharmacy Practice residency or equivalent hospital experience.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
Pharmacokinetic drug dosing experience
OTHER INFORMATION
Ideal Candidates:
Board Certified in Critical Care and/or Experience in Critical Care setting with ICU rounding. Experience with precepting ICU rotation for PGY1 residents.
