ABOUT THE ROLE

The purpose of the role is train, coach, develop and supervise Accounts Payable Associates assigned to their team, vendor invoice processing for assigned sites, and preparation and review of month end reports. Primary responsibility is the development and coaching of Accounts Payable Associates and team leadership.

Responsibilities include:

Training and coaching of Accounts Payable Associates:

Annual performance appraisal and goal setting for each Accounts Payable team member:

-
Coordinating efforts of team members for even workload distribution:

Helping team members with problems related to:

1. Communication with site personnel

2. Invoice processing & discrepancy resolution

3. Communication with vendors

4. Personnel issues with assistance from Corporate Human Resources

Posting the team's batches to MAS90:

Help maintain accuracy of weekly invoice discrepancy reports of team members through periodic review before sending to site personnel:

Review and approve team accounts payable month end reports and submit to the Accounts Payable & Receivable Manager:

Duties of an Accounts Payable Associate

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Team Leader will work directly with vendors, regional and site managers, site buyers, other Team Leaders, the Accounts Payable & Receivable Manager, the Director of Finance & Accounting, the CFO, and other employees and officers of the Company.

Minimum High School Diploma and 4-5 years' work experience in accounting or accounting related field:
