What Will You Do?
The IT System Administrator role is responsible primarily as a direct service member of your dept/program staff.

Act as Primary Server Administrator
Troubleshoot Critical Outages
Maintain and test functional backups and disaster recovery plans
Perform Upgrades and Health Maintenance
Design and Deploy new servers as needed
Act as Primary Network Administrator
Troubleshoot Critical Outages
Create failover and disaster recovery plans
Perform Upgrades and Health Maintenance
Ensure Efficiency and security of network topology
Lead major team projects while minimizing downtime and risk
Lead change management efforts for critical upgrades, implementations, and transitions with cross-departmental teams and leaders
Optimize and maintain fiber internet, firewall, VPN, and SD-WAN QoS
Resolve all level 3 tickets not able to be resolved by the level 2 analyst
Model, create, and maintain all Policy Payloads in our endpoint management systems and servers
Monitor, improve, and troubleshoot security infrastructure alongside Cybersecurity Analyst including Firewall, web filter, End Point Protection, spam filter, exchange rules, phishing simulations, SSL certificates, and encryption.
Ensure full compliance with all HIPAA and CIPA guidelinesResearch and suggest innovative solutions to increase system performance, end user experience, and decrease costs
Search for vulnerabilities in all server, network, and security systems and work with Cybersecurity Analyst to resolve
Complete projects and other work as assigned by the IT Director
Assist IT Director and IT Analysts in times of critical need
Requirements
What qualification do you need?
Must have a valid Driver's License and meet any credentialing, licensing, and privileging standards as it pertains to the department
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or technical school in computer science related field.
A minimum of 3-5 years hands-on relevant professional experience
Requires advanced technical skills in all windows server and VMWare virtualization systems, strong understanding of networking with an emphasis on SD-WAN and vLAN utilization.
Utilize efficiency, automation, strategic modeling, and logging to identify issues, map enhancements, and implement. Must understand how to properly troubleshoot and maintain multi-site infrastructure buildouts to ensure maximum uptime and resource utilization. Requires working and applicable knowledge of switching, Putty, Wireshark, and other core networking software. Occasional travel between campuses is required. Knowledge of Ubiquiti hardware/software and VPN technology preferred.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
