Head of Global Markets FX Sales - Boston, United States - Citizens
Description
The Head of Global Markets FX Sales will manage a team of experienced FX professionals. The Managing Director (MD) has management and revenue responsibility. The MD works to develop new business relationship opportunities and prospecting efforts in the Corporate and Private Equity space with the goal of delivering Citizens full suite of capabilities. The MD is responsible for mentoring and developing our analysts as well as coaching our current coverage.
Responsibilities:
+ Develop new Private Equity relationship opportunities and prospect leads through internal and external network and COI.
+ Generate new business across the entire Banks capabilities and product offering.
+ Manage, maintain and grow the book of the Corporate and Private Equity teams FX business, including revenue generation through execution, or delegation of execution, of spot, forwards, options, cross-currency swaps, and foreign currency accounts.
+ Proactively engage with client base to provide regular market updates relating to their specific exposures and needs.
+ Liaise with internal Bank colleagues to implement credit facilities which appropriately cover clients currency risk mitigation needs.
+ Provided insight and direction for new opportunities in the FX space.
+ Develop and recruit talent from the analyst to the managing-director level
+ Assist with technology upgrades.
+ Expand our existing relationships with our corporate and private equity clients.
+ Coordinate and communicate internally with internal business partners including credit, legal, and other revenue teammates.
+ New Product Development & Sales
+ Work with Global Markets Business Leaders and Bank leadership to set Global Markets strategic priorities and plans
+ Help product teams establish goals and strategies
+ Help to build best in breed products to meet the needs of Bank clients
+ Staffing, Operational, Strategy & Miscellaneous
+ Work closely with the Global Markets Business Leaders to identify opportunities and challenges around staffing of existing business
+ Identify candidates to support Foreign Exchange business initiatives around product build-outs and infrastructure improvements
+ Help fill in gaps / identify contingencies for any operational, marketing, trading issues that may arise
+ Work closely with Global Markets Business Leaders on strategic planning initiatives
Requirements:
+ Strong understanding of all FX product offerings to the Banks Corporate and Private Equity clients including (i) spot, (ii) forward, (iii) options, (iv) cross-currency swaps, and (v) foreign currency accounts.
+ Expertise of the applicable credit and cash management/treasury.
+ Minimum 20+ years of successful FX sales across a variety of industries.
+ Strong ability to lead and mentor both junior and senior level talent
+ Demonstrated ability to influence, build and retain client base

Hours: 40
+ Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
