Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team during this exciting phase of expansion.

The Office Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Operator and helping to streamline administrative processes across all three store locations.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide administrative support to the Head Operator.
  • Perform HR related tasks such as assisting in payroll, updating employee databases, managing union communications.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate records, filing documents, and organizing office spaces.
  • Communicate effectively with store managers and employees to relay important information and facilitate efficient workflow.
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering office supplies as needed.
  • Handle basic accounting tasks such as processing invoices, receipts, and payroll information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall operation of the supermarket.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a retail or supermarket environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse individuals.
  • Selfmotivated with a proactive approach to problemsolving and task completion.
  • Proficiency in Google Office Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets,).
  • Ability to travel between the three store locations in Jersey as needed.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Korean or Spanish is a plus.
