MW Polar Foods was founded in 1976, we are one of the largest importer and distributor of premium quality grocery packaged goods & general merchandise products.

Our Headquarter is located in Cerritos/Norwalk, CA, and we have 6 major Distribution Centers strategically located throughout the continental U.S.

servicing various retail channels (supermarket/grocery store/pharmacy etc.) across the U.S. and South/Central America.

After established over 40+ years, the company is still growing fast and looking for new staffs who is diligent and self-motivated to join the team.

MW Polar Foods is currently recruiting a Purchasing & Business Analyst.

This is an opportunity for an individual who eager to learn the whole business operation from buy to sell, and grow in the consumer packaged goods industry from the ground up.

You will learn from all aspects of the business workflow with other team members. A detail-oriented, self-motivated and a good team player with efficient communication skill is preferred.


Job duties:


  • Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to perform product development and cost negotiation with manufacturer, optimize supply chain process to control cost and inventory level.
  • Support sales & marketing team in developing business plans to achieve company revenue goals.
  • Stay uptodate with product knowledge, business environment, and market trend to identify new business opportunities.
  • Understand and maintain product specifications and assure quality consistency for the product lines assigned.
  • Analyze quotations from vendors, negotiate cost, estimate landing cost, and establish sales pricing strategy.
  • Plan new shipments with vendors to maintain healthy inventory level and meet sales demands.
  • Monitor purchase orders and maintain business communication with vendors, monitor and optimize the order delivery process.
  • Communicate with clients for in daily order processing, propose sales/promotion plan, and present new products.
  • Process sales orders from clients, communicate with warehouse and 3rd party carrier to arrange delivery of orders.
  • Coordinate with accounting team to ensure accuracy of outgoing payment to vendors and receive payment from clients in time.

Requirement:


  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Speak and write English fluently in business professional manner.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and Mandarin preferred but not required.
  • 2 to 3 years of related experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability for multitask under stressful deadline. Prioritizes and plans work activities in advance and uses time efficiently.
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Gathers and analyses information skillfully and develops alternative solutions.
  • Effectively builds and maintains partnerships with clients, vendors and staffs of different teams within the company.
  • Believes in self, takes responsibility for own success, accepts challenges, always looks for ways to improve self and grow together with the company.

Pay:
$45, $68,000.00 per year
