Job Description JOB CLASSIFICATION: Driver/Courier, Ground-Based Electro-Optical Deep Space Surveillance System (GEODSS) located on the summit of Haleakala, Maui, HI.JOB SUMMARY: The Driver/Courier operate any and all vehicles as assigned by the GEODSS site management including, but not limited to passenger vans, sedans, and utility vehicles. Provide safe and pleasant driving performances for passengers to and from the site. Obey all posted precautions and speed limits. Check and verify for safety the essential mechanical components and systems of the vehicle. Responsibilities include picking up the mail at the Post Office (USPS), packages at FedEx (both ground and air) and UPS, bottled water and other directed, locally purchased items or acquisitions necessary for contract needs..
PRIMARY DUTY RESPONSIBLITIES: Operates company assigned vehicles to transport crews to and from the GEODSS site.
This is a full- time position with a set schedule.
Full-Time Salary Range: $43,655 - $48,506
#ASFS Required Education, Experience, & Skills
EDUCATION: A high school diploma or GED is required.
REMOTE LOCATION REQUIREMENTS: For Maui the employee must be able to work at 10,000 feet elevation.

This position is covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which will determine your wages.
