Mechanical Quality Control Inspector

LOCATION:
Linden, NJ, USA


JOB DESCRIPTION
To be considered, applicants must have experience with high precision machined metal parts.


EXPERIENCE
Working knowledge & understanding of materials & metallurgy

Machine shop experience working with mills & lathes

Ability and experience reading and/ or drafting manufacturing drawings

Manage work load to meet due dates and foreman expectations

Ability to use high-precision inspection and measurement instruments

Duties and responsibilities

Inspect parts to ensure precise conformance as specified by engineering print

Maintain tools as required

Maintain inspection logs and records

Maintain professional working relationships

Education

High-School Diploma or equivalent

Advanced education or training in an electro-mechanical field

2-4 year Engineering or Technical degree highly desirable


REQUIREMENTS
Working knowledge & understanding of materials & metallurgy
Machine shop experience working with mills & lathes
Ability and experience reading detailed prints
Manage work load to meet due dates and foreman expectations
Ability to use high-precision inspection and measurement instruments


EDUCATION
High-School Diploma or Equivalent
Advanced education or training in an electro-mechanical field
2-4 year Engineering or Technical degree highly desirable
