GENERAL MANAGER/OPERATOR

JOB DESCRIPTION
A General Manager/Operator is responsible for running day to day operations for the entire restaurant. Responsible for the entire P&L. Responsible for staffing and recruitment.

On the shift, General Manager/Operators will be expected to work all positions in the store, supporting both the front and back of house.

High proficiency in all positions is expected.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

Service_

  • Providing excellent customer service during guests dining experience, from entry to the restaurant through departure and everything in between.
  • Memorize the food and beverage menu at your location
  • Can handle guest complaints in an efficient and effective manner
  • Memorize steps of service for all FOH positions
  • Standard bearer
  • Able to work line positions to support team during the rush

Sanitation_

  • Maintain high food safety standards, including verification of temp checks, line checks, cooling logs, and other food safety materials
  • Ability to complete internal health audits
  • Maintain high cleanliness and quality standards in the entire restaurant
  • Check food and equipment temperature to ensure food safety compliance

Leadership_

  • Can cover any position in the restaurant
  • Provides direct, in the moment feedback to their team

  • Cash handling

  • Able to properly receive and verify orders

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum_

  • Able to speak English
  • Comfortable working with and leading a team
  • Basic math knowledge
  • Able to take constructive criticism
  • Able to handle conflict with potential guest issues
  • Ability to read and follow instructions
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable with technology
  • Able to multitask and prioritize on the fly
  • Conflict resolution, both with guests and team members

Preferred_

  • Can speak both English and Spanish
  • Prior experience with Revel, Ctuit and/or Zenput
  • Food Manager certification
  • Any local certifications that are required in the store's jurisdiction
  • Prior experience in a high volume, fast casual setting

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to lift 25+ pounds
  • Able to stand on their feet for 8 hours uninterrupted
  • Able to be stationary for multiple hours at a time completing repetitive tasks
  • Able to move quickly throughout the restaurant
  • Able to access and navigate all areas of the restaurant
  • Able to work in excessive heat and cold associated with the kitchen environment

Pay:
$70, $85,000.00 per year
