    Required Experience / Qualifications:
    Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
    FE/EIT preferred. Working towards obtaining licensure in State of Michigan.
    Preferred 2 to 4 years of experience
    Proficiency in current versions of AutoCAD, MicroStation, Synchro, VISSIM, Highway Capacity Software and Microsoft Office Suite
    Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills

    Responsibilities:
    The job functions will vary and, depending on the successful applicant's experience, may include the following:
    Traffic Data Collection
    Preparation of Traffic Impact Studies
    Plan Sheet Development
    Synchro Model Network Development
    Traffic Sign and Pavement Marking Plans
    Crash Analyses
    Traffic Signal Design
    Preparation of Maintenance of Traffic plans and write-up

    Resolving design and construction problems
    Developing cost estimates and project schedules
    Ensuring projects run smoothly and are completed on time
    Willingness to participate in a team-oriented environment as well as function independently
    Participate in field investigations to diagnose issues
    Develop reports and preliminary concepts
    Wants varied experience
    Adapts well to change
