- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- FE/EIT preferred. Working towards obtaining licensure in State of Michigan.
- Preferred 2 to 4 years of experience
- Proficiency in current versions of AutoCAD, MicroStation, Synchro, VISSIM, Highway Capacity Software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills

- Traffic Data Collection
- Preparation of Traffic Impact Studies
- Plan Sheet Development
- Synchro Model Network Development
- Traffic Sign and Pavement Marking Plans
- Crash Analyses
- Traffic Signal Design
- Preparation of Maintenance of Traffic plans and write-up
- Resolving design and construction problems
- Developing cost estimates and project schedules
- Ensuring projects run smoothly and are completed on time
- Willingness to participate in a team-oriented environment as well as function independently
- Participate in field investigations to diagnose issues
- Develop reports and preliminary concepts
