Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Technician to join our team in Greencastle PA. The primary responsibility of this role is to disassemble end-of-life servers and sort their parts efficiently and accurately.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Disassemble endoflife servers according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Sort and categorize server parts based on type, condition, and usability.
  • Identify and separate reusable components for recycling or repurposing.
  • Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials in compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to maximize efficiency and safety.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards at all times.
  • Other tasks as assigned by manager.

Qualifications:


  • Prior experience in electronic component disassembly or assembly in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools and equipment used in electronic disassembly.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in sorting and categorizing parts.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Prior experience with/in a WMS is preferred.

Physical Requirements:


  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 pounds, safely and effectively.
