    Description

    Job Description: We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Retail Stock Associate. As a Stock Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our store is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing for our customers. From receiving shipments to restocking shelves and assisting with inventory management, you will contribute to the overall success and efficiency of our retail operations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Receive and process incoming merchandise shipments, including unpacking boxes, checking for damage or discrepancies, and accurately recording inventory quantities.
    • Organize and store merchandise in designated locations within the store, ensuring that products are neatly arranged and easily accessible for customers and staff.
    • Restock shelves, displays, and product fixtures with merchandise, following established stocking procedures and replenishment guidelines to maintain optimal inventory levels.
    • Monitor inventory levels and identify low-stock or out-of-stock items, communicating replenishment needs to supervisors or managers to ensure timely restocking and availability of products.
    • Assist with inventory counts and audits, participating in regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies.
    • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the stockroom and storage areas, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing shelves and storage racks as needed.
    • Assist customers and fellow team members with locating merchandise, answering questions, and providing assistance with product selection or recommendations.
    • Follow all safety and security procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and loss, including proper handling of merchandise, equipment, and hazardous materials.
    • Collaborate with other team members, including sales associates, cashiers, and managers, to provide exceptional customer service and support store operations as needed.
    Requirements:
    • Previous experience in retail or warehouse operations preferred, with a strong understanding of inventory management and stocking procedures.
    • Ability to lift and carry heavy boxes, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods, with physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks.
    • Attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to accurately record inventory data, label merchandise, and maintain orderliness in the stockroom.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and interact with customers and colleagues in a professional manner.
    • Basic math skills for counting and calculating inventory quantities, recording data, and performing inventory calculations.
    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
