EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- College degree preferred
- Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program preferred
- Medical Back Office/Medical Assistant experience preferred

- Ability to work well with physicians, anticipating their needs in regard to patient care
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Give practice tour and escort patients to exam rooms
- Obtain short history and vital signs as required by patient's visit. Obtain or update medication list.
- Set up exam room according to scheduled procedure or appointment type.
- Proactively review clinician's schedule and anticipate daily needs
- Taking before and after photos
- Educate patient following clinician recommended treatment plan
- Ensure that the patient understands treatment plan, proper use of medications or skincare, and understands responsibility for patient compliance
- Thoroughly clean exam rooms before and after patient visits
- Stock all exam rooms
- Perform all duties related to medical instrument cleaning and sterilization
- Inventory management. Notify Practice Manager of supplies needed to avoid shortages
- Call patients to follow up on procedures
- Triage patient calls. Accurately and timely notify clinicians of any patient concerns or complications
- Check expiration dates on all perishable supplies
- Ensure all charting and patient documentation is completed following patient visits
COMPENSATION:
$22-25 per hour contingent on successful experience; Benefits include Health, Dental, Vision coverage with premiums paid for the employee, PTO + holidays paid, 401K with up to 3% match
Pay:
$ $25.00 per hour

- Medical assisting: 2 years (required)
- EMR systems: 1 year (required)
License/Certification:
- BLS Certification (preferred)
- Certified Medical Assistant (preferred)
