Overview
The Assistant Production Supervisor assists the Production Supervisor in all production processes and procedures. Will take charge of the shift in Production Supervisor's absence. Will assist Production Supervisor in maintaining daily production. Will monitor daily shift operations and inform Production Supervisor of potential issues. Works in collaboration with employees, and management team to enforce safety and quality policies and procedures.


Essential Functions

  • Assists Production Supervisor in observing daily shift operations and reports any new developments or concerns
  • Oversees production to identify any production or equipment issues
  • Assists in maintaining production paperwork for designated shift
  • Will train new personnel on existing production protocol, safety and plant equipment
  • Enforces company safety policies and procedures
  • Oversees production quality to ensure exceptional finished products
  • Oversee lead personnel
  • Coordinates plant goals with Production Supervisor to ensure total production objectives are accomplished in a timely and costeffective manner
  • Works with Production Manager and Supervisor to track and minimize labor overtime
  • Will occasionally perform labor functions as needed.
  • Demonstrates leadership during adoption of new processes continually works to identify opportunities to gain efficiency and improve quality in production
  • Ability to work in all areas of production, i.e. Sheets, Washroom, Towels, Small Piece, Pillowcases
  • Open to a flexible schedule
  • Has good understanding of all equipment, systems, and processes (EVUE)
  • Any other duties as assigned by leadership

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Education:


  • High School or equivalent

Experience:


  • At least 3 year of experience in the field or in a related area

Skills:


  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills

Pay:
From $24.00 per hour
