TERRITORY MANAGER - JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Represent and sell all manufacturers of The Northeast Group according to established policies and procedures.
  • Communicate with customers on a daily basis to ensure they have all the information needed to make buying decisions.
  • Communicate with all manufacturer sales managers consistently to update them on territory sales and overall details on customers.
  • Identify and assess customers or vendors needs to achieve satisfaction. Direct requests and unresolved issues to the sales team or management.
  • Consistently search for new customers in a variety of classes of trade.
  • Partner with other sales team members to meet and exceed customers' and manufacturers' expectations.
  • Maintain a current base of product knowledge while servicing customers. Continually look to improve product knowledge through training and selfstudy.
  • Participate in weekly company conference calls to update sales team on information gained during the week.
  • Provide sales information through reports and feedback for the territory when asked by management.
  • Maintain company samples in working order in order to present to customers when needed.
  • Maintain all contact information for customers through the company CRM/Ordering system.
  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions which will include inquiries, comments, issues, and actions taken.
  • Provide and maintain the highest level of Quality, Morals and Ethics while conducting Business.
