Job Summary:
Responsible for the efficient operation and quality of the Digital Sheetfed Presses for Sheridan Digital products.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret job jackets to thoroughly understand job specs, workflow and/or customer instructions.
- Setup and operate digital printing equipment to high production and quality levels; press operations include print engine, stacker, booklet maker, laminator, and Polar cutter.
- Consistently monitor quality of finished product during run to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Accurately prep, organize, and manage files for the press.
- Perform required maintenance of the machinery, both preventative and corrective, troubleshoot as needed.
- Maintain accurate record keeping on timesheets, log books and PM schedules.
- Accurately communicate with management, as well as the next shift and other coworkers the status of jobs being processed.
- Prep and deliver completed work.
- Manage paper and/or supply inventory; and perform in regular rotation in bindery and finishing areas as needed.
- Follow all required safety procedures such as: PPEs, Ergonomics, etc.; Performs job in a manner that protects the health and safety of all employees.
- Assist with housekeeping in the digital print department.
- Other duties as assigned.
Pay:
$ $20.00 per hour
