Position Summary
The Accounts Payable Clerk performs a variety of accounting and bookkeeping duties according to established policies and procedures. This position works with department managers to accomplish tasks as needed. Strong organizational skills are required.

Basic Responsibilities

3way matching, G/L account, coding of invoices, expense reports and data entry
Ensure input and timely payment of all vendor invoices
Handle fullcycle accounts
Verify and process all accounts payable documents
Record payments and maintain a bookkeeping system
Perform basic clerical duties
Work with vendors and internal team to resolve discrepancies
Collaborate with the Asst. Controller & Controller to maintain department goals and general A/P
Participate in departmental projects and goals as needed
Receive and verify invoices and requisitions for goods and services

Skills & Qualifications

Ability to work a high volume, fastpaced environment
Automated accounting software experience
Multitask and work under strict deadlines
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word /Excel
Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
Knowledge of accounts payable procedures and practices
Knowledge of company policies and procedures
At least 2 years A/P experience
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
