Administrative Assistant


RICH CITY Rides is searching for a competent and self-starting Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director of Rich City Rides.


Job Summary:


The RICH CITY Rides Administrative Assistant (Admin) to the Executive Director (ED) is responsible and responsive to the work of the Executive Direction.

The Admin will run the office of the ED and provide clerical support for the ED.


Flexibility, good judgment and the ability to adapt quickly to the needs of a growing and diverse organization are essential.

Experience in working for a non-profit, school or other institutional setting is highly desired.


General Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Provide general daytoday administrative support to the Executive Director (ED).
  • Plan travel including booking flights, prepare itineraries, coordinate with other attendees, process timely payments, take care of other accommodations, and transportation.
  • Coordinate and schedule personal appointments, including doctor's appointments, home, restaurant reservations and car appointments.
  • Serve as liaison to outside vendors, staff, consultants and others with regards to scheduling for the Executive Director.
  • Manage and, when needed, coordinate the Executive Director's calendar for meetings and meeting requests.
  • Sort and distribute office incoming mail and paperwork.
  • Digital and physical filing and reporting
  • Working with Operations and Facilities to order supplies for the office, setup for meetings including refreshments and video/audio requirements;
  • Answer office phone calls and take messages for the ED
  • Help draft and design general correspondence, invitations, letters, memos, charts, tables, etc.
  • Process check requests and invoices for the Executive Director.
  • Run miscellaneous errands as requested.
  • All other duties, as assigned to meet business needs.
  • Inperson and onsite work with some remote scheduling

Required Skills/Abilities:


  • At least three years professional work experience, ideally in an Executive or Administrative support role.
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic, consistently completing tasks on time.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an enthusiastic and positive attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and comfortable interacting with individuals at a high level.
  • Composed, highly organized with a keen attention to detail, quality, accuracy, and customer orientation.
  • Positive and professional mindset with the ability to provide superior support to the full Development team.
  • Motivated selfstarter who can problem solve and is proactive in learning new processes and skills.

  • Bachelor's or associate degree, or parallel work experience
  • Microsoft Office
  • Google Workspace
  • Drivers License (not required)
  • Online meeting platforms
  • Customer service and administrative experience

  • Staff evaluations and reviews
  • Meeting and digital forum moderating

$ $32.00 per hour
