    Job Title: Anti-Money Laundering Team Lead at Gain

    Overview:

    The AML Compliance Department at Gain is seeking an experienced Anti-Money Laundering/Financial Crime Compliance expert to support the AML Officer in various business divisions. As the AML Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring BSA/AML Compliance program adherence to industry best practices. Your responsibilities will involve providing guidance to front office and cross-department stakeholders, handling escalations, evaluating policies, collaborating on projects, and more. This is a permanent, full-time hybrid role (3-4 days per week in NYC office) with a competitive salary range based on qualifications and experience.

    Responsibilities:

    - In-depth understanding of BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC/Sanctions, and FINCEN requirements
    - Support AML advisory function for business line coverage
    - Handle escalations and resolutions for front office, KYC onboarding, and complex account issues
    - Collaborate on policy updates, risk assessments, and AML enhancements
    - Assist in drafting SAR narratives and facilitating AML escalation process
    - Provide AML training and expertise in related projects

    Qualifications:

    - 5+ years of AML Compliance experience with a focus on Anti-Financial Crime, KYC, EDD, and Transaction Monitoring
    - Strong knowledge of AML, FinCEN, OFAC Regulations
    - Ability to make effective decisions and guide teams on AML and KYC aspects
    - CAMS designation preferred or must obtain within 12 months from hire
    - Experience in banking, broker dealer, or fintech within financial services industry
    - Ability to assess risks and ensure compliance with regulations
    - Collaborative, detail-oriented, with good execution skills
