    Responsibilities:

    • Develops and implements solutions to enhance processes, reduce expenses, and enhance customer/patient satisfaction
    • Evaluates service quality and collaborates on food and equipment selection
    • Provides training to dining services and nursing staff, as well as operational leadership
    • Monitors compliance with policies and procedures
    • Aids in managing food & nutrition services budgets with building leadership
    • Stays informed of proposed regulatory changes and communicates to supervisor
    • Analyzes internal customer surveys results to implement improvements as necessary
    • Ensures proper maintenance of medical records including nutritional assessments and patient care plans
    • Supervises Dining Services Manager
    • In absence of Dining Services Manager, assumes related responsibilities such as scheduling and food ordering

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or Foods and Nutrition
    • Registered Dietitian in current state certification required
    • Minimum of two (2) years' experience in long-term care with some managerial duties
    • Continuous education for registration maintenance as per the American Dietetic Association requirements
    • Valid driver's license
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and foodservice software
    • Ability to handle complex issues effectively and mentor others
    • Strong communication and public speaking skills
    • Technical and clinical competence
    • Confidentiality maintenance of patient, employee, and company information
    • Professional and cooperative interaction with patients, families, and colleagues at all levels
