Description

We are looking for a department manager for financial controlling at our partner company located in Dortmund. The partner company is one of the leading companies in the non-food industry.

Your responsibilities:

  • Managing a department in financial controlling
  • Supervising and leading a specific group of employees
  • Being the contact person for our business and department managers
  • Assisting in the creation of annual business plans and forecasts, as well as providing support for all group companies
  • Assisting in financial analysis and report creation to support the management in decision-making
  • Developing reporting processes
  • Conducting cost analysis and identifying potential cost savings

Your profile:

  • Completed degree in business administration with a focus on controlling or finance, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in finance or controlling, ideally in an international trading company and in a leadership role
  • In-depth knowledge of financial analysis and planning
  • Good knowledge of SAP (FI/CO) and LucaNet is desirable
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Good knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI or Qlikview/Qliksense is desirable
