In December 2021, HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD premiered in Hamburg. The internationally acclaimed play, based on an original story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne, and John Tiffany, will be exclusively performed in German at the Mehr Theater am Großmarkt.


Key responsibilities:


  • Responsible for the supervision of rehearsals and performances
  • Serve as the liaison between departments before and during performances
  • Ensure smooth execution of stage changes and technical adjustments
  • Conduct safety briefings
  • Responsible for maintaining the function, quality, and safety of lighting and stage equipment in the theater

Qualifications:


  • Completed training as a master (m/f/d) for event technology or equivalent qualification
  • Knowledge and application of safety regulations, DIN standards, and accident prevention regulations
  • Proficient in German and English
  • Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Enthusiasm for tackling tasks, organizational skills, and ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
  • Independent, tidy, and reliable work ethic
