    POSITION TITLE: Human Resources Coordinator (Entry Level)

    Strongarm Designs provides the ideal HMI solution to the healthcare, bio-pharmaceutical, food, and manufacturing industries. We are diligently seeking to hire a candidate for Human Resources Coordinator to support our HR administrative and employee experience initiative efforts for over 100 employees. This position is located at our Horsham, PA engineering design, electronics assembly, and metal manufacturing facilities. Strongarm is also looking for a candidate that will adopt a culture of continuous improvement (incremental change, and blame processes, not people).

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    This position supports the HR Generalist with all HR administrative efforts such as employee recruitment, employee onboarding, and employee training. Will support, assist, and collaborate with the HR Generalist on employee experience initiatives. The HR Coordinator will also be expected to be the first line of contact for all employee-related issues regarding administration and company policy. The position reports directly to the HR Generalist.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assist with recruitment functions such as candidate review and interview scheduling.
    • Assist with Employment Branding initiatives.
    • Assist HR with onboarding and orientation training.
    • Assist HR in employee review process.
    • Collaborate with, support, and assist in HR Generalist on employee recognition and employee experience initiatives.
    • Assist with employee mediation.
    • Assist with ADP employee portal (vacation, 401k, direct deposit, benefits, etc.).
    • Assist in Employee Handbook training.
    • Assist with organizing and maintaining personnel records.
    • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Post-secondary degree, certificate, or experience in lieu of degree/certificate preferred.
    • Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources preferred.
    • 0-2 years' experience in HR, benefits, recruitment, or employee relations.
    • Strong skills in Microsoft Office.
    • Database experience preferred.
    • Experience using ADP preferred.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
    • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
