Position Summary:


Grow, deepen, and innovate GWH's online presence while working in conjunction with the rest of the Public Relations (PR) & Marketing team to build multi-platform stories for both digital and traditional use.

Create, implement, and maintain a more robust marketing and storytelling focus while giving GWH the resources to engage with new technologies and solutions.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Build a robust missionfocused digital marketing materials and campaigns.
  • Spearhead new technologies to communicate GWH's mission to new audiences.
  • Oversee relationships with influencers and digital marketing partners.
  • Create marketing stories which spotlight critical programs and success stories.
  • Manage and posting on all GWH's social media channels.
  • Review and respond to Google and Yelp reviews.
  • Work with Donated Goods Retail (DGR) with rewards and recognition efforts.
  • Work with Workforce Development (WFD) on spotlighting new and growing programs.
  • Assist with providing marketing support for all departments and stakeholders.
  • Collecting stories for GWH News.
  • Other duties assigned by management.

  • Ability to multitask, make quick decisions, adapt to change, and work in a teamoriented, fastpaced environment.
  • Adheres to all GWH Policies & Procedures, Loss Prevention & Safety Regulations, and GWH Guiding Principles.
  • Must be punctual and have dependable attendance and maintain an appropriate appearance.
  • Must safely conduct work; maintain good housekeeping standards, have all aisles and pathways to fire exits clear and free from clutter, and keep work areas neat and clean.
  • Adheres to local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, journalism, public relations, or a related field is preferred.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of social media management experience.
  • Familiar with multisocial posting through programs such as Buffer, Hootsuite and HubSpot.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites.
  • Entry level experience determining how to cater unique marketing campaigns to a unique audience.
  • Ability to work alongside a diverse group of team members while working toward many company initiatives.
  • Entry level understanding of marketing strategy and how to use the concepts throughout various forms of outreach.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI):


  • Post on GWH's social media channels (90 to 120 posts per month).
  • Social media posts provide up-to-date and relevant content.
  • Oversee and maintain GWH's relationships with digital influencers.
  • Find and develop success stories for use throughout the PR and Marketing Team's projects.
  • Provide marketing support for other departments and stakeholders.
  • Advance GWH's ability to promote the mission and DGR.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:


  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, and reach.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull, up to, 25 lbs.
