Our Administrative Services Bureau seeks an enthusiastic and motivated person for its Budget Analyst (Associate Budget Analyst) position, acting as the primary budget contact and performing the technical analytical work of intermediate to high level of complexity in the preparation and maintenance of the California State Library's budget.


  • Under the general direction of the Fiscal Officer (Staff Services Manager II), the Associate Budget Analyst (ABA) acts as the primary technical budget preparer, program contact, and performs analytical work of intermediate to high level of complexity in the associated activities with administering, building, preparing, and maintaining the entire California State Library's appropriated budget. Additionally, this ABA will act as backup/secondary to the primary operational budget contact.

Working Conditions


This position is headquartered in the City of Sacramento; however, the position may work a hybrid schedule where you work remotely and physically report to the office.
