Description of Company:
Since 1891, St. Joseph's School for the Blind has been providing specialized services to individuals with visual impairments across New Jersey. Founded by the Sisters of St.

Joseph of Peace, the School is comprised of several programs, such as:
Early Intervention, In-district Support Services, School for the Blind, and Adult Services. As a non-sectarian organization, they are proud to serve individuals of all races, creeds and national origins.


Qualifications

• High school or equivalent or higher (required)
• Valid Driver's License (required)
• Caregiving: 1 year (preferred)
• CPR Certification (preferred)

Duties

• Ensure that the client's daily schedule is followed.
• Distribute medications to clients as prescribed.
• Answer the phone and communicate messages to appropriate individuals.
• Handle any emergency or crisis situation in accordance with established written procedures.
• Must possess a valid NJ Driver's License and ability to drive a van.
• Follow DDD standards regarding selfdirected day programs.
• Follow procedures for filling out incident reports.
• Participate in In-Service training programs, as assigned. Cooperate with the agency and department staff in any inspection and investigation.
• Perform other clientrelated or programmatic tasks and assume other responsibilities as assigned by the Director and the Assistant Director
• Implement all Adult Day Program policies and procedures.

Shift Requirements:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

$35,392.00 per year
