Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough takeoffs and material quantity surveys from architectural and engineering drawings for vertical construction projects.
Analyze project specifications, plans, and requirements to develop accurate cost estimates, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.
Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors for specialized work and materials required for the project.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients to understand project objectives, constraints, and value engineering opportunities.
Utilize construction estimating software and tools to prepare detailed cost breakdowns, proposals, and bid documents.
Perform cost tracking and analysis throughout the project lifecycle to monitor budget adherence and identify potential costsaving opportunities.
Conduct risk assessments and identify potential challenges, contingencies, and mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Prepare and present cost estimates, proposals, and bid documents to clients, contractors, and stakeholders in both English and Spanish.
Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements impacting vertical construction projects.
Maintain accurate records, documentation, and files related to estimating activities, bids, and project correspondence.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on vertical construction projects.
Strong proficiency in both English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
Proficient in construction estimating software and tools, such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar platforms.
Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, codes, and regulations applicable to vertical construction.
Strong ability to interpret construction documents and details, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment.
Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
Customerfocused attitude with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
Willingness to travel to project sites and attend meetings as needed.
