Job Description:

S&S Transportation & Sharing Economy is currently seeking a Claims Specialist to join their dynamic team. As a Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for managing TPA claims related to Bodily Injury, PIP, Med Pay, and Uninsured/Under Insured Motorist exposures. This role necessitates initiative, leadership, and critical thinking skills while operating within designated authority levels. The position will report to the assigned Manager and is entirely remote.

What you will do for C&F:

  • Participate in policy crafting discussions during renewals to ensure appropriate exposure
  • Monitor assigned claims to maintain reserves, ensure timely investigations, and confirm proper file handling by TPA
  • Offer feedback and guidance on claims by communicating trends and recommendations to the assigned manager
  • Evaluate account performance monthly, updating senior management on trends and account status through presentations
  • Engage with current and potential clients to discuss C&F's claims capabilities and address specific claim requirements
  • Deliver superior customer service to agents, insured individuals, and other parties involved in the claims process
  • Possess an understanding of contractual indemnity and additional insured risk transfer opportunities

What you will bring to C&F:

  • Minimum of two years' experience handling bodily injury claims
  • Preferably a college degree and relevant insurance-related certifications or courses
  • Obtain and sustain necessary state licenses
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with all organizational levels
  • Proficient in computer skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Occasional travel may be required
  • Understanding of contractual indemnity and additional insured risk transfer opportunities is advantageous
