Great Opportunity for Experienced Medical Providers

Join our team as a Medical Provider (MD, PA, or NP with a Supervising Physician) at the Bayfield County Jail medical unit. This role offers a flexible schedule of up to 2 hours weekly, with no weekends or hospital rounds required.

As part of Southern Health Partners, you will work alongside our dedicated Medical Director and on-site nurses to deliver comprehensive medical services to inmates. With over two decades of experience in correctional healthcare, our organization maintains high standards of care and safety within the jail.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting facility visits and patient consultations
• Prescribing medications and providing referrals when necessary
• Overseeing the medical staff and ensuring compliance with protocols
• Maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with privacy regulations

Key requirements:

• Clean background for security purposes
• Active licensure for the relevant job duties
• Background in Family Practice or Emergency Medicine preferred
