Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care.

You will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians to administer medications, monitor patient vital signs, and assist with various medical procedures.

Responsibilities:


  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
  • Assist with medical procedures such as wound care, catheterization, and IV insertion
  • Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing
  • Provide patient education on medication administration, disease management, and selfcare techniques
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy and confidentiality

Qualifications:

  • Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in [state]
  • Proven experience working as an LVN in a healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and medications
  • Proficient in specimen collection processing and medical imaging techniques
  • Familiarity with acute pain management and cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Strong skills in IV insertion and medication administration
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
  • Experience with mammography screenings is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure
