Description
Responsibilities:
- Administer injections and medications as directed by the provider
- Perform blood draws and prepare specimens for testing
- Monitor patient vital signs and assist with basic medical procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with billing and coding procedures
- Assist with office duties as needed, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and maintaining inventory of medical supplies
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and ensure their needs are met
- Contribute to the growth and development of the company by identifying new opportunities and ways to improve patient care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a medical assistant program or equivalent training required
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in a medical assistant role required
- Strong injection and blood draw skills required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with electronic medical records preferred
- Passion for providing excellent customer service and an entrepreneurial spirit
Pay:
$ $18.00 per hour
