Job Summary:


The Social Media / Marketing Manager is responsible for managing and executing the social media and digital marketing strategy for the Show Up Strong '24 campaign.

This position requires a strategic thinker with expertise in digital marketing, capable of leveraging emerging trends to enhance campaign effectiveness and engage a broad audience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Media and Digital Marketing Strategy:
  • Stay current on the evolving digital and social media marketing landscape, providing updates on emerging trends to the Head of Content Strategy and other relevant teams.
  • Develop a strong understanding of client goals, target audiences, and business drivers.
  • Translate market research, performance data, and industry trends into meaningful insights and strategic recommendations for B2B/B2C lead generation and brandbuilding programs.
  • Develop and execute multichannel digital marketing plans, ensuring alignment with the overall content strategy as directed by the Head of Content Strategy.
  • Content Management:
  • Create and manage a detailed content calendar, ensuring all content is uptodate and only approved content is posted across all social media platforms.
  • Develop engaging text, image, and video content that resonates with our audience and leads to measurable action.
  • Campaign Performance Analysis:
  • Measure and analyze campaign performance, leveraging insights for optimization.
  • Adjust content and marketing strategies based on analytical data to boost engagement and visibility.
  • Project and Resource Management:
  • Manage digital marketing projects from inception through execution, mapping steps, aligning resources, and addressing roadblocks to ensure onstrategy, ontime, onbudget delivery.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Content Strategy to develop and refine social media campaigns.
  • Required to attend two weekly 30minute remote meetings to synchronize with the content strategy team and discuss ongoing strategies and updates.
  • Event and Real-Time Content Capture:
  • Attend mandatory scheduled events to capture in-person content, enhancing real-time engagement and content relevancy.

Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or Digital Marketing Manager.
  • Strong understanding of social media KPIs, web traffic metrics, and SEO.
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, and other social media best practices.
  • Experience with audience and buyer persona research.
  • Excellent multitasking skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication skills.
  • Degree in Marketing or relevant field is preferred.
