Founded in 1964, TCB currently owns/manages 12,000+ units of rental housing across the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Midwest.

The Development Associate role at TCB

Solve problems creatively, with resourcefulness and tenacity
Work collaboratively, maintaining rapport with both internal and external colleagues
Actively participate as a team member, sharing new ideas and contributing to key initiatives
Set appropriate deadlines and work within them
Contribute to a broad range of critical activities, from organizing responses to Requests for Proposals to representing the organization at community meetings and public forums/events
Understand key risks and learn about strategies to avoid them
Work passionately to make our vision of affordable housing for all a reality
Support deal closures that will provide quality housing for residents in need

Here's what we're looking for

A passion for socially responsible real estate development
Strong financial and analytical skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to present to audiences that are racially, ethnically, and socioeconomically diverse
Ability to multitask, handling multiple projects at once and consistently meeting deadlines
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Project (Adobe skills a plus)
Bachelor's degree with 13 years' work experience in a related field or equivalencies
Direct experience/familiarity with affordable housing development is ideal but not required

Expected salary range:
$60K to $80K based on experience
