  • Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI & Resuscitation (American College of Cardiology).
  • Accredited as a Comprehensive Bariatric Center under the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP).
  • Primary Stroke Center Designation (AHCA).
  • Leapfrog Safety Grade A, Fall 2020.
  • Blue Distinction Center for Bariatric Surgery (Blue Cross Blue Shield).
  • UnitedHealthcare Bariatric Center of Excellence (United Healthcare).

The role you'll contribute:


The Nurse Manager (NM) is responsible for daily operations and inclusive of staffing and patient flow in the assigned unit(s).

The NM must be able to assist as needed at the bedside and maintain clinical competencies.

The NM designs, directs, integrates, coordinates the nursing care for the respective services, inclusive of specific age groups dependent on the service standard of care.

Incumbent in the position are the leadership responsibilities for providing collaborative processes to facilitate development of the hospital's mission, vision, and values within the department.

The NM is actively involved/integrated in the comprehensive development and maintenance of the Bone and Joint Center Service Line. Assist Leadership with strategic planning and operational plans, service designs, resource allocation and organizational policies.

  • Responsible for day to day operations including staffing and patient flow in the unit, under the direction of the Director.
  • Maintain clinical competencies and must be able to assist as needed at the bedside.
  • Ensures a positive Patient Experience through the use of the tools provided (i.e. Bedside Shift Report, Hourly Rounding, Nurse Leader Rounding, Interdisciplinary Team Rounding, use of Key Words) by the staff.
  • Plans, designs, directs, integrates, and coordinates the nursing care for the service, inclusive of specific age groups dependent on the service standard of care.
  • Incumbent in the position are the leadership responsibilities for providing collaborative processes to facilitate development of the hospital's mission, vision and values within the department.

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

  • _ Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- _ BSN degree, will consider individual completing the degree.

  • Two or more years of recent experience in an orthopedic unit.
  • Current Florida licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.

Qualifications:

  • _ Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- _ BSN degree, will consider individual completing the degree.

  • Two or more years of recent experience in an orthopedic unit.
  • Current Florida licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
