- Administer, score, and interpret screening and assessment tools such as the TCU Drug Screen, Treatment Assignment Protocol, and the URICA
- Utilize various assessment tools for ASAM placement support
- Conduct screenings and assessments during intake and for existing populations
- Provide treatment services and conduct group and individual sessions
- Assess participant progress and develop treatment plans
- Build participant support networks for community reintegration
- Motivate participants for treatment participation
- Maintain client treatment files and confidentiality
- Supervise and schedule therapeutic activities for participants
- Ensure compliance with ethical standards and program documentation
- Collaborate with team members regarding participants
- Understanding of cognitive behavioral therapy and addiction theories
- Knowledge of offender populations, substance abuse assessment tools, and therapeutic community concepts
- Ability to tailor treatment strategies to participants' needs
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Word and Excel
- Ability to work independently, maintain ethical standards, and professional appearance
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
- Required: Associate degree in Human Services or Substance Abuse
- Alcohol and Drug Trainee (ADT) status or equivalent
- Primarily in a correctional institution setting
- Ability to de-escalate program situations
