Job Summary:


As an Orientation Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in welcoming and onboarding new employees, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

Your primary responsibility is to facilitate orientation sessions for newly hired drivers and other personnel, providing them with essential information to succeed in their roles.

You'll collaborate closely with HR personnel, training coordinators, and department managers to develop and deliver engaging orientation programs that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

Additionally, you'll serve as a point of contact for new hires, addressing any questions or concerns they may have during the onboarding process.

Your role is crucial in fostering a positive and productive work environment while promoting adherence to industry standards and best practices.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct ongoing training sessions to enhance driver skills and safety.
  • Collaborate with teams to assess training needs and develop targeted programs.
  • Provide oneonone coaching and support to drivers as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities and driver progress.
  • Assist and support a crossdepartmental team with document processing and coordination as needed
  • Assist in developing and updating training materials for continuous improvement.
  • Stay uptodate with industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and quality training.

Skills & Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent English language skills (esp. listening).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Minimum 2 years of industry related experience managing truck drivers.
  • Must have proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, empathy.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multitask efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
  • Customer Service oriented, professional attitude and team mindset.
  • Good problemsolving, critical thinking and decisionmaking skills.
  • Exceptional organization and time management abilities.
  • Proactive, attentive to details.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Physical Requirements:


  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
