Description
This role provides direct clinical patient care.The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level.
The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated.The role is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.
Independently performs the functions of a registered nurse in direct patient care. Utilizes the nursing process in the delivery of developmentally appropriate care.Also works in collaboration with other health care professionals to provide a comprehensive plan of care to meet the patient/family needs.
Requires in-depth professional knowledge and practical/applied expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines within the broader professional fielddemonstrates awareness of the industry, including regulatory, evolving customer demands.

Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Master's degree)
